Fiber One Cereal for $.49

Albertson's is advertising General Mills cereal for $1.49. This coupon gives you an additional $1 off of General Mills' Fiber One 80 Calories cereal; you can print off 2.

2 cereals for $.98...not bad.

I know the cereal doesn't look all that fancy, but I love it! It's actually quite good.

Run #5

50% Savings

5 Pringles, 4 shampoos and conditioners, 3 cereals, and 6 Lean Cuisine meals

Retail price: $40.84

What I paid: $20.36

18 items = average of $1.13 per item

I saved $12.73 by ad-matching, and $7.75 in coupons. I got those 5 pringles, retailed at $7.31, for $1.95. Woohoo.

It is PRINGLES Week!

Fry's has an ad-match this week. They are advertising 5.7-6.7 oz Pringles for $.79.

At Walmart, the light Pringles are $2.38 each and the regular Pringles (regular as in not light...it doesn't matter what flavor you get) are $1.50 each.

So, you can save $1.59 on each tube of light Pringles and $.71 cents on the regular kind.

Super deal!

Sometimes a Run Doesn't Always Go As Expected...

I went to Walmart today, expecting to get 2 Scott 4-pack tp rolls, 2 three-pack dish sponges, 4 Fiber One cereals, and 6 Healthy Choice meals. When I got to the register, 8 of 13 coupons wouldn't scan. The lady called over her supervisor, who was a total jerk. Very rude and unsmiley (that's probably not a real word...well it is now). She accused me of photo-copying coupons...which is not true! I printed them off online! Then, she wouldn't ad match. Walmart's policy says that they do BOGO's if the competitor's ad has a price listed for the item. Safeway's ad said "BOGO 3-pack sponges; save up to $4.29". (I also had a coupon for $1 off of said 3-pack sponges.) The lady said "well that's not a specific price" and wouldn't ad match it.

So, in the end, I ended up getting 4 items and using 4 coupons:
-three 3-pack cascade trials for $.97 each; three $.25/1 coupons = $2.16; saved $.75
-one 4-pack of Scott toilet paper for $3.98; ad match for $2.99, one $1/1 coupon = $1.99; saved $1.99

Ready for the good part?
I got all of these Ajax...

...for $9.57!! There are 29 in there...I was aiming for 30, but one of the stores had only 5 Ajax.

Summary:

Combined worth: $35.60
Spent: $13.72
Saved: $21.88 or 61.46%

Want 30 Cleaners for Under $10?

Attention east Mesa! Walgreens is having a sale through this Saturday. Ajax cleaner, usually $.99 each, is 3 for $.99. The limit is 6 (but if you go to different Walgreens, you can end up getting 30 Ajax, for example, for $9.90 --- a savings of $19.80!)

The coupons are in-store, in their ads by the front door.
